Working as an intern for Compassion Connect will provide you with a very unique experience that blends leadership and hands on action. You will have the experience of working with a growing non-profit. We have a small staff of part time people who work together as a family. Media/Communications

Compassion Connect is looking for a motivated Marketing Intern with an interest in the fields of Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism to join our team. We are looking for someone well qualified to navigate the social media world, and who is capable of thinking through and implementing strategy for communicating a message locally and nationally. This would involve anything from web content, social media, print content, blog writing and more

Dynamic Data and Strategy

Compassion Connect is looking for a motivated Data/Strategy Intern with an interest in the fields of social research, outcomes, evaluation, and strategy. We are looking for someone well qualified to develop means of assessing effectiveness with a target audience, and with the ability to summarize and suggest strategies for better carrying out a mission based on the research. This would most likely involve surveying churches and volunteers who have been involved in any volunteer efforts related to Compassion Connect.

Volunteer Engagement

Compassion Connect is looking for a motivated Volunteer Engagement Intern with an interest in the fields of volunteer management, encouragement, development, and more. We are looking for someone well qualified to develop structures within an organization that encourages investment in the people who God has brought to the cause. This would involve creating strategy for building relationships, appreciating volunteers, and showing how people get more involved.

Qualifications for Interns:

• Graduate or minimum Junior standing at university. Declared Major should align well with desired internship position
• Self-starter who is able to take responsibility for projects and work independently
• Flexible person who works well with a team and communicates well
• Loves Jesus and is a person who agrees with and lives out the values of Compassion Connect

• Adorned in Grace marketing coordinator

Compassion Clinics

• Compassion Clinic equipment Delivery

  A trusted driver with a larger truck who can help drive the Compassion Connect equipment trailer(20’). Must have driver’s license and reference. • Compassion Clinic Dental Inventory

  Maintain an accurate inventory of all dental supplies. After each clinic identify the needs and process an order for new supplies. Some knowledge of dental supplies necessary. • Compassion Connect Document Updating/Editing

  Works on updating important documents, such as Compassion Clinic Manual, making them current and understandable.   Manage facebook and twitter for Compassion Connect. Find church collaboration links online and come up with a calendar for posting that is mixed with CC event promotions. • Compassion Connect Graphic Design Team Member

  People who enjoy working together to stuff envelopes, file things, organize things. You would be part of an on-call team that would be contacted when there is a need.   Commit to praying for Compassion Connect on a regular basis. You will receive a monthly up-date with requests as well as time sensitive requests throughout the month. Hours vary depending on need.
